Doing fine Liam. :) Let me know what you think of the set will you. I've seen the set two or three times, and it is a very nice looking set of pipes. Chris Bailey had a look at the set and said it was a good set. The reeds needed a bit of sorting I remember when the set first arrived in Denmark from Seattle. The Glasgow climate may be more passing.

The set is sold!

I just got back from London, where the buyer - yes, one of Uilliams students - picked it up, we met at Chris Bayleys workshop. Practical - as most of the money went to Chris for a new full set in D (soon there will be a set of compact Charles Roberts drones for sale).

I hope the buyer will be pleased with the set - he was actually the first one who inquired about them a long time ago.

Yes, congratulations Morten and to the new owner. Morten will you have the new set in time for the Copenhagen Irish Festival? I've never seen or heard any of Chris' work "live".

Hi Morten

Pleased as punch with them. Now to lose 100 pounds so that I can play them

Uilliam played them and liked them, they played straight out of the box, looks like the reeds like Scotland better than Denmark

The set Chris showed us in his workshop looked lovely, (made your mind up as to the metalwork?). Hope yours looks lovelier, to make up for losing this Bb beauty.

Hello all

Thomas: My own set won't be finished at the Copenhagen festival, but Chris kindly loans me a full set untill it is done, "just a few leftover bits and pieces thrown together...." . This one:

It will be here by the festival - but you can of course see Chris´own set as well because he will be there himself.....

David:

Im happy that you are pleased. I finally decided to go in a different direction alltogether:

My new set will be a copy of this :D :D :D
Nice and compact. Internally it will of course be chris' measurements.

Very nice - I'll look forward to seeing and hearing them and meeting Chris. The reg keys on the brass set remind me of Dave Williams keys, especially where the pads sit. Prehaps Dave saw Chris' work and was influenced?

Nice. I have a deep fondness for Taylor designs... and, of course, the real things. :D

Glad that the Bb set went to a good home...I remember hearing Brad play it in his workshop a couple of years back and coveting it myself. I seem to recall that the drones had a particularly nice, rich hum to them...

Those reg keys on the loaner set do look very Williamsy indeed. Très chic.

The set was Brad's personal set that, for one reason or another, was made available for sale. It is a real gem!

Ahhhhhh, so you're the buyer. Good on you Davy.

Losing weight may help the piping, but I'm be more concerned about the health of the piper. I have more than a few pounds to shed myself. You can do it. Think of the reward.

Nice set, can't wait to hear a few clips!
