Fingers definitely crossed this end. I didn't like to ask...

He jested, quaff'd and swore."

They cut me down and I leapt up high

I am the lord of the dance, said he!

Fingers, toes, legs, arms and eyes---all crossed.

Sorry, I never could keep my legs crossed for long. I ... er .... oh, fingers .... yes. Well, sure, I can do that. Luck!

Best of luck. Clare via Dublin via Cavan has a nice ring to it!

Dear oh dear, my heart bleeds to see dear old dirty Dublin being dissed, even though I know in my heart of hearts that it's pretty justifiable these days.

I'm playing so little lately that crossing fingers will have minimal impact on my ability to play tight triplets.

Good luck, and let us know how you get on one way or the other. Which part of Clare, just so that we can salivate a bit more? For me, real Clare starts west of Ennis, but that's just a geolociocultural state of mind thing.
