You know, this method of naming is hardly new, now that I think on
it. Waiting for Godot is pretty much what the whole play is about.
And Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead is pretty descriptive...

P.S., what's a "fillum"?

PS Every time I've flown, it seems I'm the only one with Uilleannn pipes on board. How 'bout one of those tacky yellow sings, "uillean pipes on board"?

I sort of enjoy film critics (Ebert, e.g.) and engage in a bit of it myself with my daughter - we both love movies so. Then again, I prefer the original King Kong to GWTW, never saw the big deal about Citizen Kane, and really enjoyed Conan the Barbarian for what it was. I also never got people who urge boycotts of movies based on what the movie is about, especially when they've never seen the movie.

"Snakes on a Plane" sounds like great material for "Mystery Science Theatre 3000"

Sorry for being obtuse, but could somebody give me a synopsis of the plot?

I 've already seen 'Snakes under a Plane' and 'Snakes slightly to the Left of a Plane' and I was wondering if this has anything new to offer the Snake-Plane type genre type thing.

Thank you.

I think this movie presents more of the viewpoint of having snakes on a plane. A new slant.

I love B movies both good and bad. I love to criticize all movies, even my favorites. Especially my favorites.

Two of my favorite "bad" movies are Frogs and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. These movies are painfully bad.
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm

It's the the word "Film" in an Irish accent (with the Gaelic "intrusive vowel"). After the English have torn strips off you about it for a few years, you get to be contrarily proud of it. (And I used to know a girl from Lewis called "Norruma" [Norma].) I can't call them "Movies." It just sounds wrong in an Ulster accent. You might not hear it, but I do.

P.S. What's ROTFF? (I know ROTFL...)

Funny, that's how many people in India pronounce it too.
How do you prepare for the end of the world?

OK, I'll accept snakes, bats and spiders as fine, but surely there is some creepy/crawly that makes you panic? The chestbusters in Alien?? :o

I haven't seen SoaP yet but I already love it! 8) I heard a review of it on the radio today and they were saying they went to a showing where everyone had toy snakes and every now and then the whole audience would go "SSSSSSS!"

Sounds like "A Rocky Horror Picture Show", but less taxing. :D
