New house. Woo hoo!

Post by TonyHiggins »

We just moved into a new house less than 1/2 mile from our old one. Now, for the first time, we have a back yard. If the chiff gathering gets off the ground this year, we'll have a very cool place to play tunes. Here are some photos I took today.

Incidentally, the acoustics inside are great for music. I have my primo stereo from the old days set up and it sounds sweet. And whistles? Oh man.

Nice yard, Tony.

Keep that potted maple watered well, I just lost one to a dry wind the other day :sniffle:

Lovely and inviting! Wish I was close enough to stop in at the Whistle Gathering and experience it first hand.

After all those years in the condo...man, you guys really had delayed gratification. Looks beautiful. And ya didn't even ask me to help you move. Oh well, I was busy anyway.
How do you prepare for the end of the world?

Thanks guys. I'm thinking of putting up a hay bail and archery target. My wife says to be sure and put the target away from the house. And she intimated I was planning on killing her dog. (Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies.)

I thought about you Lance, but I decided to let you off the hook. We did pretty much all the heavy lifting on week days. (Weekends were weak days. -good pun, there.) Peggy's got some biceps, you know. Anyway, gotta go sit outside and practice some. :)

Nicely landscaped yard. As a lover of houses, I want more house pics.

You know, as someone who's always lived in the country, it never occured to me to be thankful for a yard. Now I am. It's easy to overlook obvious blessings I suppose.

Any wild fish in that creek behind the fence? Now that would be my idea of a dream garden? (fishing on your own property :) ).
Listen to me young fellow, what need is there for fish to sing when i can roar and bellow?

It's my opinion - highly regarded (and sometimes not) by me. Peace y'all.
