Turns out I'm a high-ranking Babbler. Sounds about right. :)

(Of course, what the NIMROD score doesn't take into account is how much benefit us Babblers and Wastes of Bandwidth get out of the other forums by reading them, even when we're not knowledgable enough to contribute.)

This is math. The Weekender doesn't do math.

Looks like I’m about 0.726 But I included test and support forum in the total.

Of course, most of my flute related posts are about fifing and so I am almost always OT when it comes to ITM.

Is that supposed to be your score, Bloo? If so, you should stop using that new math.

.42???

That isn't right though because a search of all forums added up to less then my 40?? total. The Controversial board didn't even show up as an option.

However since almost everything I say has profound significence I'd have to drop the total to about .000045.

I'm sure you'll all agree.

Jesus Christ -- What are you guys? A bunch of humanities majors. My degree is in medieval history, and I can calculate a percentage.

On a good day, that is.

Go find one of your posts and look under your avatar and get that number and use it for total posts. That is T.

Then search for all of your posts in the pub; that is P.

Then search for all your posts in the Conspiracy/controversy forum; that is C.

Add P and C, and divide that total by T.

Bloomfield -- C = 92; P = 1021; T = 6109; P + C = 1113, divided by T = .182

I.D.10-t -- C = 372; P = 840; T = 1711; P + C = 1212, divided by T = .708

Weekenders -- C = 761; P = 2704; T = 5660; P + C = 3465, divided by T = .612

If someone wants to double check my math, go to it, because I didn't. I've got to go catch a plane.

Ha, you gotta search by posts, not threads.

So I'm an Average Joe, then? I've always suspected as much, and now the numbers prove it.

How is it that I've been a member here longer than Nano, yet have less than 10% his number of posts? I feel so . . . unaccomplished.

First let me congratulate you on outsmarting someone that calls himself I.D.10-t.

Second let me defend my math that led me to the 0.726 number in that when you search all forums for all posts, I only end up with 1669, not the number under my avatar.

Assuming that those missing posts are distributed randomly, I thought that it would best be the T number for any number missing from it would also be missing from the P and C totals in a random manor hopefully leaving the ratio accurate.

Perhaps you can figure out rh's score.
