Post by Congratulations »

Okay, so I decided I was going to let iTunes choose 20 random songs from my 4872-song library (music I've begged and borrowed, but not exactly stolen) and post them on the C+F. So here it is:

At the Zoo, Simon and Garfunkel
Andy Warhol, David Bowie
Bird Stealing Bread, Iron and Wine
Woman of the House / Morning Star, Tommy Peoples
Chelsea Morning, Joni Mitchell
Life's Been Good, Joe Walsh
Sunday Morning Coming Down, Johnny Cash
Miss Johnson's / Mike Russell's, Mary Bergin
Proud Mary, Ike and Tina Turner
That'll Be the Day, Linda Ronstadt
Same Old Blues, Lynyrd Skynyrd
Colours, Donovan
Ballad of a Thin Man, Bob Dylan
Pencil Thin Mustache, Jimmy Buffett
Love the One You're With, Stephen Stills
Hey Jude, Beatles
Reconsider Me, Warren Zevon
Brother Louie, The Stories
Girl Inform Me, The Shins
Vega-Tables, Brian Wilson

Now, this list is not exactly representative of my music selection (predictably). And I didn't include any classical music. Also, I don't listen to my iTunes or iPod with the whole library on shuffle, so this doesn't represent what I am listening to at the moment or ever. It's just a fun thing to show people some stuff that I own and occassionally hear.

If anyone else uses iTunes or some other music program where they can put all of their music on random like this, feel free to participate! :D
oh Lana Turner we love you get up

Here is the 25 most played on my computer's iTunes. Now mind you, typically the music I listen to is on the iBook, and since that is not here, I'm not listening to very much. I've been reduced to cd's! :o And what's funny is that the "Latin" one is from a Latin course, not a song

Elgar: Nimrod
Gene: Speak to me Someone
Django Reinhardt: La Mer
Daevid Allen: Poet for Sale

And whether the blood be highland, lowland or no.
And whether the skin be black or white as the snow.
Of kith and of kin we are one, be it right, be it wrong.
As long as our hearts beat true to the lilt of a song.

I don't have any playlist. I do have an old crank up phonograph out in the garage and some 78's, though.
