That's great. Really.
Now my 16 year old, who memorized the Thriller moves, is even more inspired.

That was great. I haven't enjoyed a show so much for a long time. Nice find, Izz!

When my husband gets home tonight I'll share the video with him. I don't think he'll find if funny though. He's totally envious of anyone who can dance.
That's where he is tonight in fact, at dancing lessons. They're clog dancing lessons, but dancing just the same. When he can figure out where the rhythm is in a tune he'll move on up to ceili dance lessons.

I accidentally saw Thriller when I was four years old, at a birthday party (I think an older sibling of the birthday child was watching it). It was terrifying! Even now I hate it

Of course, I was scared of The Wizard of Oz too, which I saw at about the same time. I guess I wasn't ready for television yet.

That would have ruined me for life.

I didn't have the means to see it when it first came out, so by the time I saw the video, I was way grownup and my kids were jaded teens. Big difference.

I was 14 I think when it came out, and my friends and I had a slumber party the night of it's MTV premiere. Since it was the first video of it's kind, we were all flabbergasted. One of those more memorable memories, that's for sure

Just recently, my MTV addicted teens happened upon the Thriller video. Apparently some famous type "singer" (yes, the quotes are there for a reason) was going through her hit list and that was on it. So now another generation has become enamored with the dance of the living dead...my 16 year old is dying to learn it now too.

hyldemoer: Tell your husband that he's not the only guy who can't dance. Once he's learned to clog, he'll be one up on me.
