Caught the myspace bug!

It's catching.....

My first tune is very whistle-driven and I hope to put more on there when I've finished recording them!

Fine stuff, Barry. Well played, recorded, mixed, etc.....

Any details? Is that all you, or with others? What's your whistle?

Hope to see some more soon!

Pop, don't know if it's too far over for you.... the Sunday of the Stortford Festival is looking very good and features (apart from me!) Mooncoin and Vikki Swan & Jonny Dyer. Both groups are very good folk outfits... I belive it's very cheap too!

Thanks crookedtune,

The first mp3 is all me. The second is a demo for friend for which I did the recording, electric guitar and piano. I just play accordion on the third.

CSG Overton low F and Susato low F on the first piece... although the pic on the page shows my Harper A/G set!

Barry & Pop -

I suppose I'll be too late to catch any happenings when I hit the UK from May 19-29? I'll be staying with friend near Nottingham, and plan to spend time around Bath, then London towards the end.

Any "gotta see's" in that that timeframe? :-?

Cleethorpes Folk festival is on during that time, which is fairly near Nottingham. Also Chippenham is supposed to be very good.

There is some info/links here although the Chippenham site seems to be currently unavailable...
