- Tell us something.: Just updating my profile after 16+ years of C&F membership. Sold most of my flutes, play the ones I still own and occasionally still enjoy coming here and read about flute related subjects.

Congrats Harry!
Second the enquiry/request for a new recording or two from you. Either solo or getting together again with the Tap Room Trio - all favourites
cheers,
Jeroen

DJM,
The beastie in the avatar is the tibetan letter for the 'ah' sound I believe.
Excuse the pomp and ceremony, it was just a bit of fun inspired by the realisation of my impending 500th and an overactive mind.
Thank you for the kind words. I'm starting on another solo recording in the next few months. More than usual it will be the tunes that I really want to play and enjoy playing (as opposed to 'novel' tunes) with my favorite accompniment... old-style PIANO VAMPING!
...You have been warned!
Regards,
Harry.

Hi Harry, well done.
I thoroughly enjoyed yourself and Mr.Tansey last sunday in the 'stones!
I stayed on the one barstool from 1:30 until 10:30 that night (four different sesiuns) and so ill take this opportunity to apologise now if i was a bit .... erm ... happy !
BTW is this a record for sunday outings in the stones?

Sorry Flanum, technically its not a record. There are stories of uninterupted erm... discussions that seemed to defy strict concepts of time that carried on into the next erm... strict concept of time. On the brighter side, you are still alive while the former heavyweights were poured into early graves... or other early houses, I can't remember so clearly.
Tansey was in fine voice. Such a rendition of "The Wind That Shakes the Barley"! Anyway, back to your training, nexy Sunday is another shot at the title!
ATB,
Harry.
