I ate lots of M and M's in my first year at art school . . . and then lost my taste for them. Peanut are better, but I never get enough in a packet. A large bag of peanut butter M and M's can replace any pleasure in life. Pure bliss.
But there are peanuts in M and M's, even the plain ones, and my friend, who was allergic, could never eat them. :(

Light brown.

I liked the old ones just plain and peanut (none of these newer kinds) and light brown was my favorite. They took red off the market for a while because of fear that the red dye was carcinogenic. Now they have red again and blue, but no light brown. Gone, surpassed by flasher blue and now in Easter pastel colors and red and green for Christmas, but no light brown. It was the peoples color the one that filled the background and was chosen last, like the small kid when choosing for teams in grade school. So enjoy your minis and your peanut butter filled, I’ll remember the light brown m&m.

I thought there would be a clear favorite, so I must admit I'm surprised to see the results (currently) so evenly split.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Me too! I thought I must be the only one. Those were the ones I ate last because they were best. I hate blue, and therefore eat those first to make them go away.

I liked the old color combo of tan, brown, orange, yellow, and green.

I liked plain when I was a kid but grew to prefer peanut. I think Smarties are better than plain M&Ms.

Ya know how some words carry unwanted connotations when taken to different cultures?
In Arabic, "M&Ms" looks like something... ....untoward.

That's why I love Middle Eastern "S&Ms" :boggle:

Seriously - I still have a package around somewhere.

I voted plain, but I also like the ones with almonds in them.

It was originally coffee flavored.

I've been told by a friend that Starbucks doesn't sell coffee--only coffee-flavored milk.

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.
