Anyone selling a A or Bb whistle ?(susato ,overton or others

Post by TinwhistleJulian »

Hello ,actually I search for a A and a Bb whistle cause my Generation Bb is not really nice in the sound things,so I search for alternatives.
Can anyone suggest me where to get these Keys or is someone selling them?
Greetings,Julian

You can get whistles in both those keys from Serpent Music in a manly ChromeMoly - good for "making your point" anywhere

dfernandez77 did a review on it and he also owns one - ask him for the link to the the review thread.

Hi Julian. I have a non-tuneable Susato (the Dublin model) A that I'm looking to get rid of but I'm not sure how much shipping would cost to Europe. Anyone have any idea how expensive it is?

Just about everybody who makes whistles in more than one or two keys makes A and Bb whistles. Here's a quick list of just some possible choices: Abell, Overton, Sindt, Humphrey, Burke, Syn, Copeland. A bit of a search and you'll double or tripple that list.

Oh Julian, if you're looking for a good Bb for a very reasonable price, you would get very good value for money with a Jerry Freeman-tweaked Generation. I have a very nice Bb from him.

Never playde the freeman tweaked version ,but if the sound is much better than before(cause a untweaked generation can sound like a roaring pipe).
I ll think about a tweaked generation for a while ,I´d prefer a susato or overton or a tweaked gen probably.
