I wonder whether, in a week's time, given your propensity to change your avatar chameleon-like, this post will make any sense.
"Last night, among his fellow roughs,
He jested, quaff'd and swore."

They cut me down and I leapt up high
I am the life that'll never, never die.
I'll live in you if you'll live in me -
I am the lord of the dance, said he!

Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

Wow, it's not often you see the Quakers dragged out.

I hope that no one thinks that is representative of Quaker thinking. It is the antithesis of it, both in content and intent.

Yeah, sounds more Southern Baptist than anything - frankly, I was quite surprised to see the Quaker name associated with those words.

Guess you cleared that up. You gonna banish Cranberry from the Religious Society of Friends?

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

"E. B. Cummings" attributed at the tail end of Cran's avatar du jour... at first I wondered when had e. e. cummings ever turned his pen to religious exhortations...

I know it's not a avatar but here's a sig that I've been using in another forum. I was originally going to use it here, but sigs don't work at C&F.

(It looks best if you view it with FireFox)
I call it, The Sessioneers.

Personally, I think it's about 95% there, but the text still needs a bit o' work.

Yokobue

Post by mrosenlof »

The Kanji say "yokobue", Japanese for "Transverse Flute".

If you have Japanese fonts installed, you might see it more clearly here: 横笛

Lately, I've been playing more Shakuhachi. 尺八
