C&F vanishing...

Post by Jack »

I was in the library earlier yesterday (where I am now) and I tried to access www.chiffboard.mati.ca, but I kept getting a page that told me that the message boards didn't exist.

It let me onto the www.chiffandfipple.com homepage, but not onto the message boards; it kept saying they didn't exist and redirected me to MSN search.

I checked the speeling five or six times and it was correct. I tried it with http://www and with only www and with only http://, but nothing worked.

Then I went back to my room and everything was fine. Now, in the library again, it's (obviously) letting me back on here.

Somebody tell me--did the page dissappear for a little while yesterday, or is it the Crystal People at work?

I've had trouble once in a while, but I never know if it's my computer, which isn't running very well, or our Internet connection or the website itself. It did happen to me yesterday I believe. It means you should go do something else.

There has been a few problems with the Board over the past few days.

It was taking me a long time to log in and an even longer time to access a forum. Once it does get moving it's fine.

Just one of those things I guess...

I had trouble getting on to some web pages today but not here. Iwon.com said something about too many people trying to access the server. Wonder if it's due to the bad weather in the midwest? Phone lines down or something?

I've had some problems getting on the boards recently. I had assumed it was the school's connection. It does these things, sometimes.

Yes, this is why I "had" assumed it was the school's connection. :)

Thanks a lot guys. You just sent the Crystal People to my machine. I think I'll give up and go to bed now!

Do you know, I noticed the same thing! Couldn't get in at all a few times, and had some slow connections other times.

There is something wrong with the forum!

Yesterday I had trouble getting in the forum and this morning I spend ½ an hour getting connected.

Is the forum server having troubles?

Hey! I had the problem too. I figured Dale had a script that recognized my IP and was trying to shut me out.
