Need a G badly

Post by chrysophylax »

Anyone got a nice G available? Low G, that is. Open to suggestions... But don't want to wait too long!
Cheers!

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

Wood?
Metal?
Price range?
Sound quality?

I'm quite aware you said "low".
However, I have a high G Abell in mint condition (blackwood and silver) which cost me $300.00 and which I can let go for $220.

Byll on this C&F list is (or was? not sure) my bandmate for about a year and a half and has heard this instrument during performances.
Nothing shrill in the least - extremely warm and woody.

It's really worth considering.

If you can find a Water Weasel in G, they're terrific. Glenn's daughter Bree is still using his e-mail address (thnwzl@aol.com) and she may still have one.

Sorry, was a bit vague. I'd prefer wood, but not really too bothered about material. As for price, again if something nice is availavble, i don't mind paying for it. I just don't have a lot of time to wait for one to be made, and i don't want a susato.....

Tommyk thanks for the offer, but i really only need a low G. Anyway i play with my right hand on top so your Abell wouldn't work for me (if it's the one i'm thinking of)

Cheers
