'Bout time we heard the news!
For anyone who wants some nice lodgings, try Berry Lodge, on your right just after you take the left turn off the main road toward the Crosses of Annagh.
If only the checkbook looked better, I could think of no nicer way to spend next weekend!
Congrats to both of you!

Launch!
It's 3.30 in the morning now. I am just back from the official launch of the CD at the Crosses of Annagh. It was a night that will be written down in the annals of West Clare music as a brilliant one.
It was frosty, the coldest night of the winter so far. We arrived early to set up, as usual people started trickling in around ten-ish. There was a great turn out of friends and neighbours and it was good to see so many familiar faces coming out in support. Around 10.30 Kitty and myself took to the stage and played a few tunes to warm up. Tom Munnelly on 30 seconds notice managed to rustle up a wonderful warm and heartfelt launch-speech after which we played for another 20 minutes. Then we called in the re-inforcements, Brid Donohue joined playing my C flute and Kevin Crawford played his own C flute. This went on for another half hour, we got a great buzz out of it. Then Kitty stepped down for a bit of socialising. I put down the pipes as the three of us on stage were joined by Dympna O Sullivan on concertina. Brid and Kevin got out the D flutes and I took out the whistle. We played for the dancers two flutes, concertina and whistle a d some nimble footwork on the floor. That went on for about 40 minutes until we left the stage to Josephine Marsh, Mick Kinsella and Maurice Coyle. Wonderful music. Fair play to Josie and the gang.
I had a chat with Jackie Daly, who inspired the CD's title and he said 'the next one will be called 'there's no stopping them now'.
Things went on for a few more hours I think, there was singing and more dancing, Tim Dennehy sang 'My love is like a red red rose' like only he can sing it and to finish the night Kitty and myself played a few final tunes joined by Jackie Small on accordeon, some time after two with a group of dancers on the floor. Have to say it again, it was a lovely night. Thanks to all our friends and supporters who came out for the night, thanks to all who have so far bought the CD. I had some misgivings and doubts over the past few months but the reactions have just been great and I am glad we pushed on and made it so far. It's out of my hands now, it's out there.

Just got home late and found my CD was already here. I have to wait till tomorrow to play it. I was just telling my husband that I reckoned the big celebration was going on tonight so it was fun to hear about it. I'm sure we all hope "there's no stoppping them now"!

Just to say we're overwhelmed by the warm. positive reactions we've received from those who have actually heard the CD. Many thanks for your support.
I am pleased to announce Phillippe Varlet at www.celticgrooves.com is now stocking the CD in the US. I received word from OssianUSA their first batch sold out before they even received it. They are deciding on how to re-stock.
Recommended purchase option is through our own website, orders ship the next working day arriving within 2-5 days worldwide.

There's been a lot of chatter about the album (all extremely positive) on the IRTRAD mailing list. The effusive praise, along with the samples on the site, won me over. I ordered a copy from http://www.ossianusa.com/ a couple of days ago.
