BTW, I've heard Royce is a real sweetie when away from the keyboard. (The internet equivalent of white line fever.)

How about a second cd release bash here in the East? Annapolis is a cool town for your next tour stop. I'd come. And it's pretty cold here today, so the twin city folks would feel right at home.

I will be there. I've been wanting to get more involved in the local Irish music scene and this looks to be a grand opportunity. Besides, I still owe Nano at least one drink for hooking me up with Tom (a great Uilleann piper) who played at the funeral of a friend a couple of years ago.

Seating was a big problem. Wow, people were ready to party last night.
Thanks to all that came and supported Roisin Dubh.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Aha. Found it.

Tire store. Heh. Anyway, that's another story. No hijackings here.

Yeah, the release thing was insane, and well-enough received, and Baglady's troupe also played very well. We offereded to pay the gig scheduled after us to stay home, but no go. Poor things...a bit of a while after we packed it up, most of the bar cleared out too.

We were selling CD copies for 12 bucks apiece, two for 20; after we'd gone, apparently people were still coming in to hear us (overheard cell phone conversation: "Hey, get yer @$$ over here! They're playing, like, Irish f***ing Music here!"), and a couple of enterprising souls who'd bought the 2-for-20 deal stalked around consoling the latecomers by scalping their extra copies!

The CD wasn't THAT brilliant, but I hope everyone liked it all the same.
