Braveheart: The Legend Spreads

Post by joey_schu »

If anyone's interested:

I just wrote out the sheet music for "The Legend Spreads," a jig by Horner on the Braveheart soundtrack. 99.9% sure that it's all correct (one muddy 6-note passage was hard to decipher). I'm learning it for church to follow a hymn on this next St. Patty's Sunday. I have it written in Finale format (the only way Finale PrintMusic will save it). In the name of "trad" music, if anyone out there would like the file, I'll email it to you.

The full version of Finale (and possibly Sibelius) could convert this to a .pdf file if anyone out there is willing...

Happy piping.

I would've asked for six, but I'm over-sixed as it is. Ummmm, that is all.

Cool, I'll take a copy. What hymn are you doing before it?

For printing in pdf format, download CutePDF at (for instance)

http://www.zdnet.fr/telecharger/windows ... 39s,00.htm

You install it and then use it as a printer in any software, by selecting it in the Print menu.

Tell us something.: I’m interested in Uilleann and other pipes and play the whistle on occasion too. I used to play regularly in a band but now mainly just entertain the neighbours.

Joey,

It will be years before I can play it, so I better start practicing it now! Count me in for one too, if you don't mind.
