Tell us something.: I've picked up the tinwhistle again after several years, and have recently purchased a Chieftain v5 from Kerry Whistles that I cannot wait to get (why can't we beam stuff yet, come on Captain Kirk, get me my Low D!)

We've got a pub here called Piper Down, so y'd never be able to play here! :P

I've never had to come up with an ITM name before, tho could be interesting, considering the aforementioned combo lists! :P

I've never actually been involved in a serious ITM band, just a lot of rock bands, so my previous band names would never even fit an ITM band; Some of my bands have been "Mindsprain" (old school punk), "Malevolence" (Heavy Metal), "Flickering Candle" (Celtic influenced Goth Metal), and my current bands "Plan 9" (Misfits cover band) and "Rubicon" (Journey cover band).

"Band to be Named Later"

The recently departed general manager of the red sox calls his charitable foundation the "Foundation to be Named Later" after the baseball trade concept of a player to be named later.

Actually, "Players to be Named Later" ain't bad for a band.

If you haven't checked Pipedown....do....very talented...and a fine cd indeed

Here are some of the ones we have thought of

Muckle Dram
Lifting Sod
Almost Gaelic
Drouthy Neebors
I then came home, and went whistling all over the house, much pleased with my whistle, but disturbing all the family.

I've always liked the name
Free Beer.

That way, when the club you're playing posts a bill announcing your gig, you're sure to get attendees:
TONIGHT AT The Tap: FREE BEER!

I have always thought that Stout Breakfast would make a great band name... I still might use it someday, unless you beat me to it.

Cool name for a band, however, max isn't a lab. He is a mixed breed, but looks and acts very much like a Pudelpointer

"Pipeline"
"Pipefish" (needlefish)
"Whistle Pig" (groundhog)
"Whistle Stop"
"Whistling in the Dark"
"For Peat's Sake"
"Judge Not"
"Gusty Gaels"
"Severe Gaels"
"Gaels of November"
"Gaels Blow"
"Get Reel"
"The Reel World"
"Reel Men" (if appropriate)
"Still Reeling"
"Reel Life"
"In Reel Time"
"Jig Saw"
"Jig Heads"
"The Jig is Up"
"Jiggers"
"Irish Diaphragm" :D

Is "Pipe Dream" in use as a band name? I see there are some albums and songs with that name.

How do you say "Let the Good Times Roll" in Gaelic?
