I'll join with Flyingcursor on hoping everyone had a good holiday and a nice day off yesterday (Monday), if you were lucky enough to have the day off (I was). I figure that's why a few of us are commenting finally today.
And thanks, Dub, for the Christmas pic. Always fun to see folks. People never look the way I expect them to. If the holidays are about family, it's nice to see what the members of this family look like...

Put a dew-rag on him and sit him on a Harley and he's the epitome of the biker dude.Montana wrote: And thanks, Dub, for the Christmas pic. Always fun to see folks. I'm rather curious as to what Montana thought I looked like
The <look> changes a lot depending on how much nagging I get from she who takes no s**t. The current one was down to a lot of drink one recent saturday, did I get a shock passing the dressing table mirror on sunday morning!!
Flydood,
The Atlas is a 1993 edition I picked up on a book stall for about two quid.

Well, ya know, with a name like "dubhlinn", I pictured something like this:dubhlinn wrote:

Don't know why... I just kind of get these images. IDaWhOA doesn't look like I expected him to look either - didn't picture glasses. However, Dale didn't surprise me in the least.

I just hope Montana never finds out that my second name is Mary...the shocking images generated might be just too much for her to cope with!Montana wrote:Well, ya know, with a name like "dubhlinn", I pictured something like this:dubhlinn wrote:

I keep telling you all - that's me on the right in the avatar!!!emmline wrote:There was a thread a while back where quite a few chiffers 'fessed up to their true appearances. Personally, I like to know, but many--obviously, and for various good and neutral reasons--prefer anonymity on the web.
(seriously, if anyone has THAT much curiousity of what I look like - or a lot of rats to get rid of - you can see pictures of me on our website)

I've got a 1987. It's fun to see the maps before the Great Redraw of the early '90s.dubhlinn wrote:
