Welcome into the kiloposters' lounge, Blackbeer

Post by Roger O'Keeffe »

Where are your manners, people :o ? BB has joined the C&F élite and I haven't seen a word of welcome.

So I've just lit the turf fire and poured him out a glass of Jameson's twelve-year-old.

The tailor Quigley will be along shortly to measure him for his smoking jacket.

Tell us something.: I've picked up the tinwhistle again after several years, and have recently purchased a Chieftain v5 from Kerry Whistles that I cannot wait to get (why can't we beam stuff yet, come on Captain Kirk, get me my Low D!)

Why not just give him Amar's?

I'd think that denim or leather would me more suitable... :o

But we went to such trouble for Amar's, and I don't think he ever wears it. It just sits in the closet next to the pink kitty tatoo! :P
We may as well have it put to good use! :D

Congratulations, Tom.

This belatedness is what happens when you hide away on the flute forum.

I'll gladly give up my smoking jacket for you Blackbeer, when I finally get my key to the 2000+ lounge. (cough)

Holy smokes guys I didn`t even know I was close. Thanks and right now Amars jacket sounds good to me as I just got in from breaking up the ice on the horse troughs. It is a balmy 4 degrees this mourning.

Take care

Well now BB,

Welcome here to the place where interest begins...

Hey O'Keefe..pass that bottle over here so that I can give BB the welcome he deserves..

I can feel a song coming on..if that turf smoke doesn't f***in' kill me first.

Slan,

That is true enough Susan and you helped smooth that road as well as quite a few others in this place, so my first drink is to you. 12 year old Tamnavulin will do the trick, as that is all I have :)
Hey Slan I hope you will let me acumpany (is that spelling in my new dictionary?) or play along with you on my just got here today Jon C mopane Pratten :o
I only have half a bottle of this stuff and so many people to raise a glass to...............
I will do my best :boggle:

Take care and thanks for all the support and love you have all given me through these 3 years
