Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

I wonder if they run the light and sound show at a particular time in the evening. Couldn't possibly be going nonstop.

I don't know. It sort of resembles stop action stuff to me but I guess it could be a computer controlled system. Either way the set up time must have been ENORMOUS!!!!

Bizarre. Someone has way too much time on their hands.
It is fun to watch but I bet the neighbors get a bit tired of the show after a while.

I didn't realize this at first - this house is about 20 miles away from where I live (and in the area I grew up in!)!!!!!

If I were you, I'd be over there tonight...

I'm curious... is this a neighborhood that would be tolerant of such
things? Mine wouldn't...

Bummer!

Well, I applaud his sense of community... and he did say that if there ever was any problem or complaint, he would shut it down.

It was one of the coolest things I have seen this year. :)

Arrrgh!!

Who will stand up and put a stop to these seasonal displays of bad taste?

Every year I go back to the UK, there are more and more of these optical obscenities. To my horror, some Japanese people have even started illuminating their houses.

Stop! For the love of all that is decent and good. Stop!
