This type of thing could probably constiute its own thread. Like: Happy as a turkey on Boxing day.

I thought "far out" had been replaced by "infinitely distant". :D

Infintitely.

Is that some kind of Canadian thing? And how do you pronounce it, exactly?

In - fin - tight - ly?

In - fin - tih - tell - ly?

I think I like the second version best. Kind of sounds like "in fin tiddle ly."

Falls into a rhythmic groove.

Oh, hmm, have we had "groovy," yet? How about "copasetic?"

Oh, that's like totally copasetic, man! Yeah, groooooooovy!

In New England it would be

wicked good, or better yet, pisser.

The usage of pisser is very important. You never say "That was a pisser party." The correct usage is "That party was pisser." (Often said, "That pahdy was pissah.") Pisser does tend to be more a greater Boston thing than generally New England.
