I'm writing an argumentative paper on which Mel Brooks movie is the best. I know what
my choice is, but I'm curious:
What's your favorite Mel Brooks movie, and why?
oh Lana Turner we love you get up

Mel who?
Just kidding. It would have to be Young Frankenstein. Why? The scene with the monster and the blind man. Absolutely brilliant!

Young Frankenstein gets my vote as well. Why? Marty Feldman.

He rode a BLAZING SADDLE!
He wore a shining star!
His job, to offer battle
To bad men near and far!......................
But Young Frankenstein is not far behind.

1) Young Frankenstein (that's Franken STEEN, you know!)
just TOO many one liners that are SO great:
"What hump?"
"Walk this way."
"Frau Whateverhernameis - whinney"
"what knockers! Thank you"

Agreed, for the most part.
I've always enjoyed that scene where we see dark helmet for the first time, and he's doing the breathing heavy thing like Darth Vader, and then he starts choking...
and then, of course, the helmet flies up and it's RICK MORANIS.
