But the words in the first post don't have bloody stuff in them. That's one of the things I don't get. Just don't tell me it's irony.

Uh, well, "Bloody" is a taboo British adjective expressing the user's
annoyance toward the modified noun. It is similar to "damned" or
"freaking". Example: "The Bloody Inland Revenue takes all my money!"

I think this is the way Bloomfield was using it, not intending for the
"Bloody" part to actually be used. This is why I thought it would be silly
to start a post using the "Bloody" part. I suppose it was ironic in the
Alanis Morissette sense.

Yeah, it's just not funny when you explain it.
