It's care dust you need to make those great jackolanterns.! I chose the cat. I loved how they were playing The Monster Mash---geez that's from my junior high school days!

I did the spider, Cynth... I was rather blown away at the results. I figured it would be kind of difficult to carve some of those curved lines out.

Yeah, it seems to work really well. I wouldn't want to be suddenly interrupted if I was using that boning knife at home though!

How CUTE! I did the kitty! It's wonderful!

And sooooo easy to do! Loved the instructions! Couldn't have been easier! I thought getting the insides out would take forever . . . scrape, scrape, scrape . . . but everything was out in a jiff.

Thank you for suggesting that! It was just what I needed to relax before going to bed.

When I was a kid, we always used turnips for Jacks.

Does anyone in the UK or Ireland still do it the traditional way, or has is all become Americanised?

Tell us something.: I've picked up the tinwhistle again after several years, and have recently purchased a Chieftain v5 from Kerry Whistles that I cannot wait to get (why can't we beam stuff yet, come on Captain Kirk, get me my Low D!)

They must be good designs... the corporate system here won't let me look.
