I see.

You're just sore because I'm not in the market for a "special" wooly friend and you feel snubbed. To paraphrase Old Will, Hell hath no fury as an Ovine scorned. How much I am coming to learn this...

Dangit Nano! I warned you about respectful treatment of your Ovines!
I bet they're getting lanolin all over the kitchen counter now, aren't they?

Cran: Like, wow man. In case I didn't say that.

Cran, when you become aged and hoary with years and you're all covered in verdigris and mossy growths like I am, you'll come to see that it's all the same thing in the end.

I know you hate it when people pull the age card, but trust me on this one.

Oh, I see! Hah! Now it all becomes clear!

You didn't want a "special" wooly friend because you already HAD wooly friends!

Trampling my affections was nothing to you, it seems. You have a flock of admiring woolies already.

Oh, how much sharper than a serpent's tooth . . .
