- Tell us something.: From the land beyond beyond. From the time past hope and fear. I bid you, Genie, now appear! Well, the Genie did not appear but the notification to type at least 100 characters did so I am back and typing some more as you, if anyone actually sees this, can probably tell.

Carol is wonderfully talented and creative and her mots are always quite bon though I find her sense of humour more of a hearty whole wheat...MarkB wrote:Today is Carol's (aka CSkinner) Birthday! A gentle and kind friend to us on these forums, a great writer, musician and one with a rye sense of humour and many bon mots!
Happiest of birthdays, Carol!!! /\/

Thanks Redwolf, and Walden for that graphic that so truly captures the essence of my friends on this board. And Alan (and Moon)...I would never suspect you of eating all of my birthday cake. My guess is that it just must have somehow fallen through the carpet-covered, table-topped hole in the chatroom floor--perfectly understandable!
But thank you for the thought, and for my first laugh of the day.
Carol

I'm sure that when Carol makes her entrance to the hallowed halls of the 1K lounge it will be with great elegance and panache so let's not rush the girl.
We, who are already in the Lounge, have been waiting for her to join us for quite a long time now.We can hold out a while longer
Slan,
D.
