Insurance I have. In Mom's case it was considered elective surgery.Denny wrote:There is a pre-op visit. They need to figure out what size to use and make sure you can't see...
Insurance covered it all...follow up checks, etc. It was +4K
No vision insurance?
She went in for one eye, and the other one at a later date. I have a feeling that there may be a bit of a difference between your procedure and hers as she paid quite a bit more. Fortunately she was able to. I'd be really pissed if she got fleeced.

Here's what Medicare will pay for this:Denny wrote:Sounds like your mom's.
Very small incision at the edge of the iris. Ultrasound the old lens into fragments. Flush same. Stick in plastic lens, tie it in place. Move you out so the next one can come in...
Spend the afternoon watching your vision get better.

This is one of my favorite topics! Shoes!ShadowBG625 wrote:Okay, new topic: Open shoes, or closed shoes? When I go anywhere, I have to wear my reagular shoes (New Balance). If I'm at home, I love being barefoot, but in the event that I have to wear shoes (in the event of an unexpected visitor) I'll slip on a pair of sandals.
I'm always barefoot at home . . . it's a Florida necessity, I think. I'll wear Birkenstocks if someone visits, but I'm more likely to just put on socks. Or not.
