Why do I like k. d. lang's "Constant Craving"?

Post by Dale »

I normally don't like pop music.

Anyway, don't you agree it's at least partly your responsibility to explain to me why I like this song?

hi dale maybe it's because when you're writing about k d lang you don't have to bother with the caps lock key. i don't anyway. :)

It's because k.d. Lang (her last name is capitalised) is a rather talented vocalist and has one of those voices that can do just about any song justice.

Well, that's from her "Adult Contemporary" album. "Adult Contemporary" being a euphemism for . . .well. You know.

I guess it's your new demographic showing.

Okay, yes, I own the album, too. It was a gift! A gift!

I'd say that's about right.

'Cause she has a voice like velvet? (Though I haven't heard her in years.)

It's true!

Even though I am firmly against smoking, I especially love her live version of the song "Three Cigarettes In An Ashtray."

If ever a song or voice sounded velvety, it is that song and that voice. It's SO awesome. Listen to it.

K D Lang is good stuff, but I haven't heard anything from her in years... of course, it would help if I didn't listen to the oldies stations ( these days, they're calling stuff from the late 80's and early 90's "oldies"). :boggle:
