Heather Clarke Wedding
Heather Clarke is getting married today (Sep 24) in Leenane, Co Galway.
And I for one, who worked my way through her tutor would like to wish her and her new husband ( I hear he's from Cork) all the very best.
And, as we used to say in Dublin, 'May all your troubles be little ones!'

I had the great honour to play pipes at Heather's wedding on Saturday with a friend on bazouki- she is a friend since we met in the UCD Canoe Club back in the late 80's.
We played Tabhair Dom do Lamh for the entrance piece, Fanny Power at the signing of the register, and The Gold Ring as they were leaving the church.
One of my favourite memories ofthe day was getting Heather to play my pipes in her wedding dress- of course she was wonderful, and the photos are just brilliant: I'll post a few here as soon as I can figure out how to do it! (Tips?!).
