..I won't tell ye what came after that.
I got talking to a guitar player in a Drogheda pub last night and as soon as the Chiffboard was mentioned he asked me if I knew Emm.....
Mighty session all night, drowning my sorrows after the Northern boys won the game.
Am in a Cybercafe in Belfast now..very spur of the moment thing, just here for the day and hopefully I'll get down to Dublin tomorrow...

Damm it, I'm out of time...took about tem minutes to get logged on...Aghhhh.

Ha,
I'm back.The last place was a rip off but while I was there getting ripped off Mrs. D spotted this place while shopping.
I going to check out some threads now so you better be prepared for trouble when I get back.

I might have to go and get some more Guinness down me neck..it is very nice to be able to have a fag with a pint here in Belfast.

That certainly did a number on my orange juice. (It's morning over here.)

I remember seeing a huge headline in an Irish newspaper that made a reference like that concerning Matthew Broderick being spotted in a pub in Dublin. In America that may have resulted in the paper being sued.

I take it it was the guitar player in the pub, not Dub who spoke the line that heads up this thread. And Dub doesn't specify whether the fellow was so incensed by a political stance of mine that he wants to rip my arms off, or whether he was thinking along other lines.

Dub himself, as we know, is well under the control of She Who Must Be Obeyed, aka The Small One. (capitalization to denote power.)

Rather strange to think though, that someone in a Pub across the pond would have cause to mention me at all. Perhaps he was thinking of Emmylou Harris.
