Nowhere is said that "she" is playing for 3 months, "her" 8 posts are all in this thread.
The website the tunes are on doesn't allow for browsing the user root.
Where did you get that wisdom if i may ask?

Hi, had a listen, very nice playing Michele.
Still think its hard to make a judgement of a chanter from a few sound clips but just knowing that you are pleased with your set is good promotion for Vignoles pipes.
Take care!

Thank God for that, 3 months and I would have been humiliated.brescianimichele wrote:halo!!!

There is no such thing as tailwind -- it's either against you or you're simply having great legs!

Hi brescianimichele----I don't play UP at all so please forgive my ignorance. I really enjoyed that second tune as well. I am surprised to hear that one could play so well after 2 years even, just based on discussions I have read on this forum. Would you say that your progress was typical, or is your progress especially rapid? If your progress has been rapid, to what in particular would you attribute that success? Did you play some other very similar instrument before taking up uilleann pipes? I had heard that it took 21 years to play UP, so I am just a little confused since you would seem to be more than 1/11 of the way toward your goal. Why, I myself might take up the pipes if I thought that I could sound that way in two years time, or even 10 years time.

Didn't Seamus Ennis himself start playing professionally after 2 yearsCynth wrote: I am surprised to hear that one could play so well after 2 years even, just based on discussions I have read on this forum... I don't think he was a professional piper in the today's sense (in the piping was his only or main means of earning a living) until the mid-1950s. Before that he worked as a collector and outside broadcaster for the Folklore Commission, RTE and the BBC.maw wrote:Didn't Seamus Ennis himself start playing professionally after 2 years
