I learned the African one (which is the original version) but I forgot which language it was. Some kind of creole, I think.seisflutes wrote:Ooh, our choir's doing that Walking in the Light of God song next month! I don't know how many languages we're doing it in, maybe just the African one, I'm not sure. It's for a service called "Global Village," or something.

I just checked in my choir music and it says it's Zulu. We've got English, Spanish, and French words too. So far we've only really practiced the Zulu words, though we ran through the English ones once.

A friend of mine (raised a Methodist, and not particularly religious in his adulthood) gives up Internet news for Lent. He recognizes that he may spend too much time checking it out and figures it's mentally healthy to take a break from something you enjoy from time to time. The Weekenders wrote:Hey everybody. Missed you a lot. I have to say though, that I pondered whether I have developed an unhealthy addiction to the ol' Forum. It's bad at work because I rely on the Forum for a quick exit from my immediate surroundings while I am waiting to print things etc etc. I found myself checking news sites etc for quick infobits for stimulating the brainpan...
Being away from the Forum made me think that I had probably been overindulging in it too.

So you have a real life? Can I ask where you got it?Whistlin'Dixie wrote:I don't care, I am glad it's back, it's like seeing old friends again

Gee, if I didn't know better, I'd think I had no real life.....
I tried Big Lots but they were $2 each, which is too expensive for me and all the lives at the local yard sales had that musty old-lady smell to them.

It tastes better, is healthier, and what's more, it's legal every single day of the week.
