Sorry to boast, but I'm feeling pretty 'chuffed' with myself, and wanted you to share my good news.

I've just been accepted as a member of the review staff for 'The Green Man Review - Roots & Branches of Music and Literature'.

For those of you not familar with this excellent and very diverse website site, it is an online review magazine whose main focus is folk music in all its aspects, from the Celtic and English traditions to folk rock, world music, and roots, as well as fiction and non-fiction of a related nature, including interviews, events, reviews, and more.

My first review (to be posted next week) is of the CD 'Basil & Thyme' by Breda Smyth.

You can also find a biog of me (blush) on the staff page.

Congratulations also. Will look forward to it. And please keep us posted on a continuing basis of new reviews by you or others that might be of interest to us here on the board.

Congratulations, Steve. Sounds like a neat venture.

And now, down to serious business. I've got five bucks for you if you review a CD sometime down the line and describe it in print as crap.
