I discovered a while ago that some people take emoticons more seriously than others, and since then I hardly every use them.

Wow, I had no idea they were the same guy. Now, it seems so obvious. I'm glad I didn't realize it while I was watching the movies.

If Satanic influences/ideals were removed from peoples' hearts, that would be better than removing emoticons. Same idea with Ten Commandment monuments in front of court houses instead of in peoples' hearts. Symbols don't bother me the way people do.

(Yes, I realize swaztikas, etc are offensive for obvious reasons.)

I'd like to say that I didn't notice it either, except for the fact that my kids kept making silly jokes like "You are going to have to take the ring all the way to Mount Doom.....MR. ANDERSON!!!" By the time I was at the end of the "Rivendell" part of the movie, it was more than painfully obvious

I should make it known that I'm put off by all the emoticons. You see, I have no nose. That's a putty one I use for the stage on my avatar.

There's and old Irish saying that says pretty much anything you want it to.

I think Emmline summed up my opinion perfectly...and that's speaking as a Christian who considers the enemy to be a very real entity, to the point which I don't even speak his name. "Devil" imagery is just silly cartoon stuff, and I see no point at all in removing it. Hitler was a real person who, if anything, was the enemy personified...that's a whole different story.

What Chaplin's been killed? I *DEMAND* he be brought back! I'm severely offended that anyone would remove his likeness! I want my smiling Charlie back! He made me so happy... particularly with his big thumbs. :x :swear:
