Father Ted
Those are my regulars...the shows I watch each week, if I have the chance. I also enjoy several Animal Planet shows, particularly Emergency Vets and Animal Precinct.
We loved "Project Runway" and "Last Comic Standing," and hope to see both of them back this season.

According to the local paper, Scrubs may be on its last leg. They just haven't been able to capture an audience, so they're only doing a half season this year, starting (hopefully) in January. Real shame if that show goes off the air.fearfaoin wrote:I tell you what I won't be watching.
I saw a preview of the pilot for Inconceivable (I think it'll be on NBC).
Yuck. It's like they tried to make Nip/Tuck more palatable for network
TV by setting it in a fertility clinic.
That being said, Scrubs is good, good TV.
My coworker just lent me his 1st season boxset
(I only started watching the show this past season),
and it is great. Go out and buy it. Seriously, right now.
I'll wait.
Guess what came in the mail for me today!!! Father Ted's Holy Trilogy, it'll be a lonnnnnnggggg night.
PS Did anyone else read about how CSI has tainted juries everywhere? Apparently after the Blake murder trial, some of the jurors said something about him being not guilty because there was no GSR on his clothes. The prosecutor called them "incredibly stupid".

Oooo, and home improvement shows. Not the dopey contest ones, or imitation Survivor ones, but the ones where they have professionals who know what the f**k they're doing, like Ask This Old House, New Yankee Workshop, American Woodworker, Holmes on Homes ...

I'd rather be atop the foothills than beneath them.

Oh, I did watch Everybody Loves Raymond sometimes. That was pretty funny. And the reruns of Seinfeld----they are on at a bad time and a weird station here but I've seen a few of those and they seem pretty funny too. We don't really watch TV so when I get in the mood I never know what's on, so I just give up. Nature and the mystery show (BBC usually) after it are the only regular shows I watch.
I watched some of those CSI shows, but they seemed all the same. Two workmen walking along on their way to work. Hey Bob! What Joe? What the f**k is that? Dead body. Investigators come. Problem finding crook. Head investigator, a woman, says keep trying. DA says not enough evidence. Detectives get mad. Find more evidence. Head investigator happy. DA happy. Detectives happy.

You know what? You're right. I didn't like Cheese. I had difficulty tolerating Cheese. And as afr as I could tell, nobody else had a taste for Cheese... except mice. Mice like Cheese.
But now, even though Cheese made my stomach turn, I like Cheese. I hope to have my taste of Cheese everyday, maybe even for the rest of my life, even though Cheese smells. And in time, I hope everyone learns to appreciate his unique... flavor, if you will.

- Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.
