Well, I got a Sony Walkman CD/MP3 player from my dearly beloved for Christmas. The player (model D-NE710) supports IDS, folders, and has a 3 line LCD display. Its also rechargable with a built in charger; the player fits in my coat pocket and doesn't skip so I can walk any where with it.
I threw my 10 favorite CD's all together on to one massive collection, each with it's own folder.
So the CDR in my CD/MP3 player has the complete contents of the following:
  • The Best of Altan (by Altan)
  • Slainte (by Slainte)
  • Ghostwood by Lothlorien
  • Otherworld by Lunasa
  • Whisper of a Secret by Deante
  • Ready for the Storm by Deante
  • Sunny Spells and Scattered Showers by Solas
  • Wooden Flute Obsession (Disc 1)
  • Wooden Flute Obsession (Disc 2)
  • Dance Music of Ireland: Jigs and Reels by Various Artists (incl. Kevin Burke, Kevin Crawford, Maritn Hayes, Jerry O'Sullivan, Joanie Madden, Jack Coen, etc. )
This gives me a variety to listen to on my commute (one hour each way by train and metro).
Enjoy Your Music,
Lee Marsh

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Makin' the Rounds.

Track 9 with Johnny Allen's...yeah. Actually sort of makes me regret not having taken up the box.

Nickel Creek's latest, Why Should the Fire Die?

My wife bought this recently, and I'm only about 4 songs into it. So far, though, I don't like it very much. I guess I just prefer a more "traditional" bluegrass sound.
Giles: "We few, we happy few."
Spike: "We band of buggered."
