UNBELIEVABLE BUT TRUE !!
EPIGRAPH
"Statistics prove that statistics can prove anything", the Frost Report(late 1960's British Comedy Show)
I just thought I'd do a progress report before I went to sleep.
19% of the voters are too drunk or too happy or too apathetic to take this poll seriously. Good Luck to them. (I am not one of em though). Lets move along without them .......
This leaves us with two classes of voters
- those who are, what may be called, civilised, and who do not, in principle, agree with anyone being called "an unbelievable arse". Unfortunately for this forum, this class has only 19% of voters.
- and the other group who, although they may have voted under different heads, are not as civilised because, in principle, they agree that its OK to call someone "an unbelievable arse". This class has 59% of the voters !
It is noticeable that the latter, less civilised group, is dominated by those who agree with Bloomfield.

I have received a personal communication inviting me to vote on this poll. Normally I would not post to this type of thread because I don't know the participants, I don't understand what the original disagreement was about, and mostly because I couldn't give a rat's ..... er .....
