Hey folks, I've not been into flutes long (not even a month, in fact), but I'd like to start selling my own hand made PVC flutes (I love building them so much that I don't have room enough to keep each one I build, not to mention that I have an education to pay for and sustain).
However, I'd really like to get some other opinions about the flutes besides my own, and some other amatures around my town (people with experience on Boehms, but not six hole keyless). You get to keep the flute! It's yours. It's my way of saying thanks for the he help, and also a way to remind myself that the opinions of other musicians is the most important part of running a buisness. There will be a tiny charge, just so I can keep up with the cost of materials and shipping, but were talking flutes cheaper than whistles here.
I am looking to send out (at this point):
5 flutes in G. Three diatonic flutes, and two with a couple of extra holes to help hit Ab and Bb.
These will be $5.
And 5 D flutes. Three diatonic, and two with the extra holes (Eb and F).
These will be $7.
I'm looking for reviews of quality, as well as suggested pricing and suggestions. I would prefer it if some players of experience would sign up, though beginners are welcome as well (as I expect it will mostly be a beginner instrument.)
First come, first serve. US only. Sign up right in the thread (from there I will PM or email you). Money order prefered. I don't like checks, but I'll take them if you want.
I'll look into this Paypal thing, but I'm not set up for it yet. If you want to do Paypal, I'll tell you when I'm ready.
Thanks guys.

I'm game, preferably a 6-hole D.

- Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.
I'll be brave and volunteer my wife to try one of the "modal" flutes. I assume they are normally OPEN holes?
I suppose you will contact us individually to get addresses and payment.

Everyone who has asked so far will get one though.
Sorry to those seeing this late. I hope to start normal prodution on these flutes very soon (adding flutes in more keys later), and I plan on making them very affordable (something for kids and beginners is the idea. I know what it's like to want a decent instrument only have money for junk). I'll keep y'all posted.
