Thanks everyone! I could not be more pleased with this set. Michael Hubbert is a superb craftsman and instrument maker.

Steve and Larry, you will most likely have a chance to try out these pipes when we next meet.

ImageHere's a photo of the Hubbert sister set. No elephants were harmed in the making. This is my first attempt at posting a photo on this site. If it works, I'll post some close-ups. Dave.

Carel, try placing your cursor on the red X, right click, then left click on properties, then copy and paste the URL address into your browser and hit enter. This might activate it onto the message board for some strange reason. :-?

That's what I had to do...worked for me.

Just for the record: No elephants (nor any other related pachyderms) were harmed in the making of my set either! They were long gone before there ever were uilleann pipes.

Additional photos of Hubbert D set.

Here's a few close-ups of my new Michael Hubbert set. Notice the drone switch, inspired by Brian McNamara's Quinn & Kohler set. Also check out the right hand index finger activated Bb & G# keys.

While attending a workshop with Brian MacNamara last weekend, I was able to score this case.

The Music Department at UCF were getting rid of a few of these keyboard cases and asked us if we wanted them... like... totally. :D

There's room enough for two sets of pipes and a practice set at least.

That's not a case - that's a coffin!!! :P

I count 4 chanters - I recognise the work of Seth Hamon and David Boisvert but what about the other two?
