Interesting Life jacket.

Slan,
D. :)
And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

I think Martin's got the idea. Punting one's way through The Smoke...what could be more meditative and salubrious?

AND...should someone disparage Martin's barque: well, it IS a tub. Duh.

My goodness! That's atrocious lime scale on that thing! No wonder you got rid of it . . .

Isn't it a little small, though? Is that a standard English bath? Or is MarMil just overly tall . . .

That's not limescale, that's dust from the building works (though the limescale is bad in London).

I stand 6' 11" in my cotton socks.

OK, not really, that's a standard sized bath in England.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that schwing

I wasn't going to tell anyone but Martin is only 3' 10". Because he's such an important person they actually shrunk the entire neighborhood to make him look 6' 11"

I'm on a relatively slow connection, and the other browser window was downloading something else, and virus scan was also running, when I opened this page, and so no indication had shown up that there was anything but the words "Be prepared!" in Miss Nutria's initial post. I thought this the most bizarre thread yet, from the responses, till I figured it out.

Put the likeness of the Virgin Mother of Christ in it? Actually, having lived some years in the Philippine Isles, I do seem to recall having seen that done.
