Hogging, indeed; I believe fondling would be more accurate, and now it's mine, all mine, the precious.slowair wrote:Yeah, Philo was walking around all day hogging a green Delrin.
Did anyone else get to try that whistle? Please tell me he bought it by the end of the day.

- Tell us something.: Well, I've been a contributor and visitor to this site since 2001. At one time or another, one of my photographs was the opening page photograph. My teacher was Bill Ochs. I play the Penny Whistle. Not a lot else to say.

Faulty Lenses or Wishful Thinking?
There must have been some problem with ALL of the cameras that day--several of the pictures make it appear as if I have (GASP!!) gray hair (and not as much up top as I imagine there to be...).

All the way home music was jumbling through my brain, enhanced by memories of the simpatico sylvan setting. This tune finally emerged. Mr. Ralph Sweet informs me the streamlet washing by the property is called the Scantic River, so this tune might as well be called "The Banks of the Scantic". Anybody who wants to is welcome to play it. It's a serviceable waltz in a pinch.

Thanks. It truly was the energy from everybody's music that day that's coming out in the melody. Sometimes the music just works through you, and you're just six holes and a fipple walking around on two legs.
