Nothing about it on Snopes, yet. Doesn't mean it's real, though.

Man, I wouldn't eat tofu no matter how you flavored it. A good friend of mine once declared that "tofu is really just Japanese for whale snot," and I have to agree...it's about the nastiest thing on the planet! And this is a vegetarian of 17 years standing talkin' here!

I've heard say that human flesh, when cooked up good--spices and all--tastes like pork. It's been called "long pork." May as well name it something more personal than hufu. How 'bout Long Sallys, Short Richards, etc., or maybe yofu.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

I once read an article that said there were no known cultures that ate human flesh as a regular meal. Cannibalism has only been used in ritual. Anybody heard of that or am I dreaming?
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm

I totally believe that. How practical would it be to eat people on a regular basis as a main part of diet? Factory farming? How else would you get enough people? As for just nabbing them at random, well, I expect the intended lunch would raise significant objections.

Talk about eating something that didn't agree with you...

My favourite treatment of cannibalism in 'literature' is probably Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land.
And whether the blood be highland, lowland or no.
And whether the skin be black or white as the snow.
Of kith and of kin we are one, be it right, be it wrong.
As long as our hearts beat true to the lilt of a song.

Oh, and to answer the original question:

Hell, yes. If I was hungry enough.
And whether the blood be highland, lowland or no.
And whether the skin be black or white as the snow.
Of kith and of kin we are one, be it right, be it wrong.
As long as our hearts beat true to the lilt of a song.
