I saw this website before---I don't know how I ended up there. I like the art that goes along with the secrets. It is not a happy place and I never feel like spending a really long time there. But to me it is sort of comforting to know that everyone has something, big or seemingly small, that they have thought or done that they cannot tell to anyone else. Maybe everyone doesn't, but lots of people do. There are times when everyone else's life seems to be normal and one's own life seems to be a disaster. But it is not true. Every life has its secrets and sadnesses. So I think this project is meant to show that.

I found it touching. There was even one that I could have written.

Things have never been the same since the Reformation, vis-a-vis the good ol' confessional. Too many people have nowhere to say these things. I sure don't want to read 'em on the Net.
How do you prepare for the end of the world?

I am having lots of fun trying to figure out which ones you could have written.

PS. My secret would have been "I am glad that you have touched this post card, we now have your prints on file".

I've found this page maybe a month or so ago. Some of them are depressing, but there are also a few real gems thrown in.

If you like that sort of pasted-together "found" art look, you might really enjoy the Griffin and Sabine books by Nick Bantock. Its hard to tell where literature ends and art begins, and vice versa.
