Yo Scottie,
There was no need to drag up the past like that..didn't I forgive you for that little gaffe ages ago :P

Glad to see you back on form after recent events

Oh, Cynth, that was nothing; don't beat yourself up about it. I'm always posting too hurriedly and commit horrid faux pas on this board all the time. Just ask D. about the time I mixed up Irish and Scotch (I still cringe at the memory of that gaffe)...Yours was naught but a simple mis-tac.

OK, I will ask the silly question. I guess I don't understand tic-tac-toe. It seems to me that if two people understand how to play the game, there can never be a winner. You can only win if someone makes a stupid move. Am I missing something subtle?

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

You are correct. Naughts and crosses is a draw, if both players are sufficiently competent at the game.

It's a reference to those annoying people who keep skipping around from song to song on a CD without ever finishing one. "Just keep it on a friggin' track, will ya?!"

Since I gave up trying to follow Wombats more philosophical posts I feel a lot better
