Fortune Cookie Fortune: Need a translation

Post by Martin Milner »

I received the following mysterious fortune in a fortune cookie recently, I wonder if anyone can hazard an English translation?

"After readying the every emotion, I see some understanding peer entering realm."
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that schwing

To fully appreciate the fortune cookie you must append the phrase,
"...in bed."
after every reading.
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm

It hasn't escaped your notice, MarMil, that a slip of paper is claiming to have the gift of eyesight? I hope you kept that thing, it would seem that it should be examined more closely.

Hmmmmm, I think that you are going to have a very notorious and public affair that will make the papers in the UK scream with delight and wild headlines, can I be your agent?

Quite. I was under the impression the fortune was predicting the accession of Prince Charles to the throne, after checking that the majority of the UK population weren't averse to the idea. I was thinking foresight, not eyesight.

Yes, I still have it, it's my souvenir of a fun evening spent on Long Island playing miniature golf & go-karting.

After readying the every emotion, I see some understanding peer entering realm.
Babel Fish (English to Japanese):
あらゆる感情を用意した後、私は理解の同等者の入る王国を見る。
Babel Fish (Japanese to English)
After preparing all feelings, I look at the kingdom where the equal person of understanding enters.
Is that clearer? :D

'I wish it need not have happend in my time,' said Frodo.
'So do I,' said Gandalf, 'and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.'

Was it from a Japanese or Chinese fortune cookie, or what? Translating it into and back from Chinese (bablefish again), we get:
In prepares after each emotion, I looked some understanding the of the same generation enters territory.
Seems to mean about the same thing, if indeed it means anything.

To and from Spanish:
After listing the each emotion, I see a certain kingdom that enters of the pair that understands.
To and from Greek:
After I expect the each emotion, I see somebody understanding Lord ball.
This is fun.

To and from Korean:
After preparing each emotion, I the what kind of gain and loss colleague see the territory where it enters.
To and from Italian:
After to have waited for the every emotion, I see a sure reign entering understanding of the par.
To and from Russian:
To afterward prepare each emotion, I see certain understanding realm peer entering in.
French to Dutch to English:
After the preparation of each tenderising, to see I a certain kingdom that of couple of regulation enter.

Hee hee! Well, you did ask for translation!

Cheers!

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

I got one that said something to the effect of, "A person who sees you looks for the beauties to be found elsewhere." Interesting :really:. I put it up by my lab bench at work.
