Yeah, my sister. I had a stuffed-animal (do they call them that across the pond?) dog named "Whitey Arf Arf". (Whitey after our real dog, Arf Arf 'cause I was too young to think of anything else. )

I think that last photo of Amar's would make an excellent avatar, Lambchop.

I don't know. Hmmm.

I did look all over E-bay, but all the pix were icky-poo. One was almost ok, but she was in a rather indelicate pose. Another was posed ok, but was on an untidy background.

Among your computer programs do you have some Photoshop thing that came along with Word? Paintshop, maybe. Then you would save the picture to your computer---and notice where. Then open up the photo program and open the picture you have saved as a file. You should be able to shrink it a bit---too much might cause distortion, crop it a bit, to get it down to the right size.

I might not be answering your real question here, so please don't be offended if I said anything silly. :)

Oh, no! That's the question exactly! I think I can do something with Paint.

The only problem is that it will only crop from the bottom and right sides! I'm trying to rotate it and snip bits off, but then the cute navy-blue background kind of gets messed up.

I'm trying to shrink it. I have okay size but still too many megabites or whatever. I'm over 20K. I haven't given up yet---although I haven't the faintest idea.....

I did it! Whittled it down by rotating it and snipping off the sides.

It is soooo me! I feel very much at home in my new fleece! And I love my new dress and hat! They're my favorite color!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you very much, Alcona! How nice of you to share! And thank you, Cynth, for providing moral support, helpful suggestions, and for keeping those . . . those . . . those wolves away from me!
