Hi Sean,

Looks like you guys have a busy weekend ahead of you. Good luck with the Floating Tionol.

Will those new regulators see the light of day?

Just got back, knackered, buzzing and in need of a serious rest. Great tionol, mighty sessions, lovely bunch of pipers and stunning river. I'm off for a week's retreat to recover. Ohmmm

It was just great. Thanks to the effort of Sean and his wife Julia. We played in very old pubs. One dates back to 1352 with Jerome K.Jerome stopping there on his trip down the Thames."the most old world inn up the river". Good food and I comply with Sean comments.

yes, I heartily agree. Well done to Sean and Julia for making it all happen. I had a great time, met some wonderful people, played some excellent music and came back worn out but enthused. Thanks to everyone for being so wonderful!!

Yeah has been a great time. Just noticed at home how much I learned in these days not only from the tuition but from listening to some great players. Really an unforgettable time, especially the last night :)

I was so sick I had to miss this years...but book me in for next years, without a doubt. Have you sorted out the dates yet? I know you could do with a break but I'd hate to miss another! Good man, Sean

Sean, it looks like you have the making of a piping tradition! It is such a cool idea, great job! Hopefully, and after having saved all my pennies and such, I wish to attend it one of these years! :)

photos are coming up. Don't forget that this succes was also partly due to the enthousiastic contribution of Brian Howard. Who helped the sick pipes. Danced a jig on the roof of the boat. "Riverdance". Danced in the pubs, singing and playing. Thanks Brian.
