Oh, my: 2K x 2. The magnitude of this event warranted celebration with an appropriate drink: A double of something, obviously. But what?
Then the only possible answer occurred to me, horrifying but clear: A whiskey margarita.
...Umm... on second thought...perhaps hearty congratulations will suffice? Hooray for both of you!
At the rate I'm going, I calculate I'll be joining you good folks in 2009. By then, the Lounge will be dreadfully crowded, the smoking jackets threadbare, the cigars smoked to ash years ago...and the booze only a memory. Ah, it's good to have something to look forward to.
