That really is me, when I was 15. I had my cousin take that picture because I wanted to look cool with the cigarettes and alcohol.
I don't usually post pictures of myself because I am a recovering anorexic and an adult survivor of child abuse/neglect who has facial scars from that abuse/neglect, so it's an iffy issue for me. People are always asking me how I got those scars and how I broke my nose, and I don't like to talk about it.

I think that the 12-pack of Bud, and a carton of Winstons are a cool touch. When I was fifteen it was Special Export and a carton of Camel Straights (non-filters).Cranberry wrote:That really is me, when I was 15. Thanks for sharing your photo, and I understand your reasons for not wanting to post your photos. It was something I too had to navigate through as a child and adolescent... but sadly, I still ended up playing the Uilleann Pipes anyway...*sigh*...

Here's the first session I ever attended. Not a great photo but it's what I have on hand at the moment....

Had to use HTML tags since this photo doesn't work with the BBCode version, apparently due to the characters after the .jpg extension. You won't see the image unless you have HTML enabled. Sorry, it's the best I can do.
